TURLOCK, Calif. – June 23, 2026 – Jaelyn Amabile of Los Banos was selected as the 2026 Dairy Princess for the California Milk Advisory Board’s (CMAB) District 4. The contest was held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in Turlock.
Jaelyn will represent District 4, which includes Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, and Yolo counties. As Dairy Princess, she will play a key role in meeting CMAB’s community relations objectives.
Jaelyn is the daughter of John and Marisa Amabile. She will be a senior at Los Banos High School and plans to attend California State University, Fresno or Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo to major in Agricultural Education. Jaelyn is an active member of the Los Banos Future Farmers of America where she is on the dairy judging team and shows dairy cattle. She is on the Los Banos varsity golf team, Associated Student Body, and has served as class Treasurer.
Crowned Alternate Dairy Princess, Allison Marchy, daughter of John and Sarah Marchy, will be a senior at Modesto High School. She has shown dairy cattle at the Stanislaus County Fair and is a member of the Modesto Future Farmers of America dairy cattle judging team. Allison is on the varsity girls’ basketball team, varsity softball team, and has served as news anchor for the Modesto High School student news. After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in Animal Science/Genetics.
Jaelyn and Allison’s duties as District 4 Dairy Princess and Alternate include speaking on behalf of the California dairy industry to various audiences throughout the year. As Dairy Princess and Alternate, Jaelyn and Allison will attend a professional development training week focused on presentation skills, advocating for the California dairy industry, leadership, and business etiquette.
